Built to Put Pressure on Pike
The Balzer MK Adventure Matzes Rache is a large spin tail jig, combining a plug body with a spinner blade. What works perfectly on perch in a smaller size translates just as well to pike in this larger format. The strong pressure waves combined with the high visibility of the spinner blade create a powerful attraction and trigger aggressive takes. At 32 g, it is light enough to fish comfortably on lighter tackle, including stiffer zander rods.
A Top Searchbait
The Balzer MK Adventure Matzes Rache features a hammered spinner blade with a scale pattern, attached via a ball-bearing swivel so it spins freely and generates consistent pressure waves. The compact design makes it very easy to cast, and the variable retrieve options make it an excellent searchbait. Depending on how long you let it sink, you can work it shallow or deep, and it performs reliably at both a slow and a fast retrieve. A quality treble hook - the same used on the MK Adventure plug range - ensures a solid bite-to-land ratio.

MK Adventure Matzes Rache Albino
It's really fun to fish with. The albino has brought me a 57cm pike and the Firetiger has already brought me 2 piles of pikes. I mainly want to catch pike that fit my kitchen size. So I'm not looking for pikes within meters. The bait is perfect for that.

MK Adventure Matzes Rache Black Albino
Runs easily with minimal pull and exerts a lot of pressure. Only the snap rings on the spinner blade could be selected to be a bit more durable. Petri Heil
