The All-Rounder
At 10 g and 7 cm, the SpinMad Originals is the all-rounder of the range - equally at home when you're targeting perch, zander, or pike.
Precise Construction and Quality Finish
The SpinMad Originals stands out for its exceptionally clean build quality. The large eyes give curious predators a natural focal point to strike at. A sharp size 3 double hook ensures an immediate hookset and keeps the fish pinned securely throughout the fight. True to the spin tail jig concept, SpinMad has fitted a Colorado blade on a barrel swivel - generating intense flash that can be a real advantage depending on water clarity and light conditions.
Where to Use It
The Originals 10 g is ideally suited for targeting perch and zander. Its body shape promotes a fast sink rate, making it well suited to fishing deeper water. SpinMad spin tail jigs generate enormous pressure in the water, drawing predators in from a considerable distance.
How to Fish It
You'll catch fish on any spin tail jig with a straight retrieve, but to add more dynamism, work in irregular pauses. When you stop the retrieve, the lure slowly tumbles towards the bottom like an injured baitfish - and that's often exactly when the takes come. Once it hits the bottom, try burning it back up towards the surface with a fast retrieve; to the predators, this looks like fleeing prey.

Strong bait - When you first throw into a clear Brandenburg lake, hook a decent perch! I also tried other types of bait, but the Spinmad 10gr delivered by far the most frequency. In the early evening bite window, I had a Lütten perch on almost every throw. The bait can be used largely “weedless” or herb-free and only brings an underwater plant from time to time. Due to its small shape and at least 10 grams, it can be ejected widely and precisely. The bait runs quite “loudly” even when guided slowly and is ideal for quick searches. In my opinion, the other sizes/standard colors are also all catchy and recommended. Top baits!

Hi, I've been fishing for Spinmads for years now. They also co-started the Spinjig hype. Although these things (like so much else) have been around forever, of course. Of course, the comparable baits from Nays or Illex, for example, are better, but they also cost three times as much. In terms of price/performance, nothing comes close to the Spinmads.
