The Heavyweight of the Jigmaster Series
At 24 g with a body length of 5.3 cm, the Jigmaster 24 is the heaviest lure in its series and targets both large perch and pike. It deserves a place in every lure box.
Even on the hardest days, this spin tail jig will draw a reaction from predators and provoke an attack when other lures have gone ignored.
The Details That Make It Work
Like all SpinMad products, the 24 g version is built to a high standard throughout. The eyelets are generously sized, making lure changes quick and easy - even large snap connectors fit without any fuss. The large, natural-looking eyes are a SpinMad trademark and give predators a focal point to home in on during an attack.
The strong, wide-gape treble hook in size 2 is extremely sharp and holds firm even under the pressure of a large pike. The blade is a hybrid of Colorado and willow leaf shapes, one of the lure's most distinctive features. This combination produces unique pressure waves and vibrations through the water. Thanks to a sensitive yet robust bell swivel, the blade begins spinning the instant the lure hits the surface.
How to Fish It
With 24 g behind it, the Jigmaster 24 gives you exceptional casting distance, and with the right braid on the reel you stay in direct contact with the lure throughout the retrieve. Presentation starts immediately, and hard takes during the sink are far from unusual.
The most productive retrieve is a rhythm of two or three upward twitches while winding in, followed by a sink phase, then two or three more twitches - and so on throughout the retrieve.

First litter - first fish I tried the bait for the first time yesterday and landed a 50cm pike right on the first throw. Unfortunately, the bait was too heavy for the water yesterday, so that the drilling regularly got stuck, so I changed. Swapped back two hours later and a bite again after a few throws. The fish was clearly bigger than the first one, but was able to break loose just before the finish line. I can only recommend the bait. And the shipper anyway!

A really good bait, especially if you want to search large areas quickly. However, due to the weight and the rapid sinking phase, it is really more suitable for deep and rapidly sloping waters and riverbanks, otherwise you will quickly get ground contact even if you catch up quickly.
