Berkley Pulse Spintail 9 g

Berkley is one of the biggest names in fishing tackle, with an enormous range of rods and lures covering virtually every target species you can think of.

Double Blade, Double the Action

The Berkley Pulse Spintail is a spin tail jig fitted with two Colorado-style spinner blades that generate plenty of pressure waves and light reflections under water. The two blades are different sizes, and that size difference creates a slight imbalance - causing the body of the Pulse Spintail to vibrate and flash enticingly on the retrieve. The oversized eyes add yet another trigger for perch, zander and pike.

The Berkley Pulse Spintail works particularly well as a search lure when you're not sure exactly where the predators are holding. Its compact body makes it easy to cast long distances, and on the way back it regularly gives you a clear indication of where the fish are sitting. The blades start spinning even at very slow retrieve speeds, keeping the lure working throughout the retrieve. You can fish it in a wide variety of ways - from a straight, steady retrieve all the way through to full jigging. Simply let the lure sink, then crank it up with one or two quick turns of the handle, let it sink again, crank it up again - that rhythm drives predators wild and the bites tend to come hard and fast.

At 9 g, the Pulse Spintail is ideal for casting and working on finesse rods. On a light, sensitive blank you can feel exactly how the lure is running at all times and stay in constant touch with the rotation of the blades. When a bite does come in, it often hits like a hammer - and that's when the real fun on light tackle begins.
