Berkley Zilla Tailswinger

The World's First Articulated Tailbait

The Berkley Zilla Tailswinger is, according to Berkley, the world's first articulated tailbait. It comes in 2 sizes - the Zilla Tailswinger 140 and the Zilla Tailswinger 180 - and combines a soft tail with a hard plastic body. That body is split into two sections connected by a double joint, giving the lure its distinctive action. What makes it even more versatile is that it ships with 3 interchangeable soft tails: a classic paddle tail, a curly tail grub, and a fish tail. Each one alters the running behaviour, so you can match the lure's action to whatever the pike fancy on the day.

3+1 Attachment Eyes

Beyond swapping tails, the Berkley Zilla Tailswinger gives you further control through 3 line attachment eyes at the head. Changing which eye you use lets you vary the running depth - this slow-sinking lure can be worked right at the surface or down to 2 metres. If you need to get it deeper still, you can clip on an add-on weight using the Klip Lok eye on the underside of the head. With 4 eyes in total and 3 different tails, the Berkley Zilla Tailswinger is one of the most versatile pike lures around.
