Deps New Slide Swimmer 175 SS (Slow Sinking)

The Deps New Slide Swimmer 175 SS

Deps have taken their legendary Slide Swimmer and refined it in every meaningful way. The New Slide Swimmer 175 is built around a highly durable ABS body and retains the realistic silicone skin of its predecessor for a strikingly natural appearance, complete with the same kick-back action during the retrieve. New to this version is the Spring Weight Micro Vibe System - a spring-loaded weight in the head of the bait that produces subtle knocking sounds on the move and vibrates during pauses.

Very Natural Swimming Action

The Deps New Slide Swimmer 175 is a two-piece swimbait with a deeply convincing S-shaped swimming action on a straight, steady retrieve. That alone is highly effective, but you can push it further: a few sharp twitches of the rod tip or short, snappy retrieves will cause the bait to break away sharply to the side. That burst of irregularity is often all it takes to trigger a strike from even the most cautious predators. At 17.5 cm, this swimbait is in the ideal size range for pike and largemouth bass, though zander and wels catfish are no strangers to it either and make for a welcome surprise. You can fish it on a spinning rod, but it really comes into its own on a baitcasting rod.
