Legendary on Sea Trout

The Megabass FX9 is a slender minnow with a running depth of 0.5 to 1.0 m that rises head-first on the pause - mimicking a small fish pushing up towards food at the surface. Despite a length of 9.0 cm and a modest weight of 10.5 g, this hard lure punches well above its size thanks to a folding lip and the Weight Balancer System. On the cast, the lip folds flat against the chin and the Weight Balancer's ball weight shifts rearward, generating extra momentum for exceptional casting distance despite the light weight. The moment it hits the water, the lip locks back into position and the action begins. On a steady retrieve it produces a Screw Rolling Action, rotating up to 180 degrees around its longitudinal axis. Twitch it and it kicks hard to the side before rising on the pause.

The Megabass FX9 has earned a near-legendary reputation as a sea trout lure, but it works just as well on freshwater predators. Asp in particular respond well to its shallow, fast-running profile. Pike, perch, and zander take it too.
