Megabass Vision Oneten LBO

The Oneten with an Upgraded Long-Cast System

The original Oneten has long earned its legendary reputation as a fish-catching machine. The Megabass Vision Oneten LBO builds on that foundation with 2 decisive differences. First, the hard lure has been extended by 5 mm to 11.5 cm. That extra half-centimetre sits in the rear section of the bait, lengthening the channel through which the balancer weight travels and amplifying the effect it has during the cast. Second, the balancer weight itself has been replaced. Where previous models used 1 to 2 tungsten balls depending on the variant, the LBO version features a cylindrical unit - the LBO2 System.

A New Balance Concept

The name alone tells you what sets the Megabass Vision Oneten LBO apart from other Oneten models: the LBO System - specifically, the Linear Bearing Oscillator System in its second generation. This consists of a cylinder fitted with a large number of small ball bearings, which allow it to travel through the channel exceptionally quickly and without hesitation. This weight transfer generates additional acceleration energy during the cast, translating into greater casting distance. Even into a headwind, you achieve excellent results in both distance and accuracy. Megabass found through testing that this system delivers an average of around 20% more casting distance than conventional balance systems.

The action is just as impressive. With the LBO2 System, simply tensioning the line after the cast is enough to send the cylinder back to its central position, where a neodymium magnet locks it in place. This means the Megabass Vision Oneten LBO is immediately in its optimal balance state and ready to fish - no delay, no wasted time. Whether you twitch and jerk it for a pronounced darting action or wind it in steadily for an intense rolling action, both are highly effective and, depending on the situation, the right choice for fooling large, experienced predators. The cylindrical balance weight also sits lower than its predecessor, which further intensifies and refines the overall action of the hard lure. With this balance concept, the Megabass Vision Oneten LBO sets a benchmark for jerkbaits.
