A Searchbait With That Little Extra

The Jigstar from Lurejunks is a classic searchbait - but it brings that little extra to the table. This spin tail jig features two line attachment points on the back, letting you vary the sink rate during the fall phases. Clip your snap into the front eye and the lure sinks more slowly; use the rear eye and it drops faster. This gives you even more flexibility to match the mood of the predators. Primary target species are perch, asp, zander and, in the heavier version, pike. The Lurejunks Jigstar is available in a range of colours and weights and is a genuine addition to any tackle box.

Tangle-Free and Full of Pressure

The Lurejunks Jigstar uses a Colorado spinner blade that generates plenty of resistance in the water. To prevent tangles - a common issue with lures of this type - a heat-shrink sleeve has been fitted over the barrel swivel. With high-quality split rings and an extra-sharp BKK treble hook, even the lightest tap will find steel. Working the Lurejunks Jigstar is straightforward. As the name suggests, jigging is the natural retrieve - and it works equally well tight to the bottom or when you're searching the upper layers of the water. On a straight retrieve, you can easily adjust the running depth by varying your speed: fast cranking keeps it near the surface, while a slower retrieve takes it down to deeper structures. Adapt to whatever the situation demands.
