Megabass X-75 +1 Nanahan

Twitchbait for the Layer Below

The Megabass X-75 +1 Nanahan is the deeper-running version of this compact twitchbait. It emerged from the combined vision of Shinji Sato, one of Japan's finest hard lure anglers, and Yuki Ito, lure designer and founder of Megabass. Two qualities define this small minnow above all else: exceptional casting performance and an outstanding action in the water. Air resistance was deliberately reduced to achieve greater casting distances, while the body shape was refined using the latest hydrodynamic principles to produce the most responsive action possible.

On a straight retrieve, the lure delivers an intense Hi Pitch Roll Action with a high-frequency fluttering tail that predators simply struggle to ignore. Twitching and jerking trigger an aggressive Darting Action with pronounced flank flashes - exactly what you need to stir lethargic fish into life. A third presentation option, particularly effective in cold water, is Stop & Go: during the pause, the hard lure hangs head-down before rising slowly back towards the surface.

With a running depth of up to 2.4 m, the Megabass X-75 +1 Nanahan is an outstanding twitchbait for perch and zander, though it will account for other predators too. It lets you fish a full level deeper when predators are holding along current edges in rivers or over drop-offs in lakes.
