Its reduced wall thickness keeps the overall weight down, which brings several practical benefits: the lure dives immediately under tension, can be worked at extremely slow retrieve speeds, and generates more buoyancy - making it easier to float the bait over submerged obstacles such as weed beds and branches. To ensure the thinner walls don't compromise durability, OSP has incorporated a honeycomb structure throughout the body, which significantly increases rigidity and toughness.

Fixed Weights and an Extra-Wide Diving Bill

The OSP Blitz DR Crankbait runs without a weight transfer system, which removes the need for a ballast track and reduces the proportion of plastic in the body. Instead, two tungsten balls sit in fixed positions, creating a very low centre of gravity. This gives the lure outstanding tracking stability, and the vibrations remain clearly perceptible through the rod even at low retrieve speeds. The diving bill is wide and rounded in shape, allowing the bait to slip through aquatic vegetation and deflect cleanly off hard cover. The result is a lure that fishes surprisingly snag-free around wood, weeds and other obstacles. Because the OSP Blitz DR Crankbait also transmits excellent feedback, you can pause the retrieve on contact with an obstacle and let the bait rise back up through the water column.

Semi Flat Body - Built for Casting and Trolling

The body shape of the OSP Blitz DR Crankbait is engineered for maximum casting distance, giving it a stable flight path and making it less susceptible to crosswinds. The Semi Flat Side Body also produces more flash than a fully round crankbait - more flash draws more attention from fish and leads to more bites. When trolled, it reaches a maximum running depth of 3.5 m, while a cast from the bank puts it in the 2 to 3 m zone.
