JDM manufacturer OSP specialises in high-quality hard lures, and the Blitz MR Crankbait is a fine example of what that means in practice.

A Mid-Range Crankbait That Has It All

Getting everything you want from a medium-running crankbait in a single lure is no small feat - long casting distance and strong buoyancy, for instance, usually work against each other. The OSP Blitz MR Crankbait brings these qualities together through a combination of considered design and smart engineering: strong casting performance, powerful buoyancy, an attractive action, excellent bottom-feel, reliable hook-ups, and minimal tangles. It starts with the body. The Honeycomb HP Body uses a honeycomb structure to reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity, producing strong buoyancy and contributing directly to the lure's highly attractive action. This is further supported by the Non-Rattle Stationary Weight System: the fixed weight is positioned at the lowest possible point on the body, improving casting performance despite being stationary. Because there is no rattle, the OSP Blitz MR Crankbait is also a particularly interesting option for heavily fished waters where rattling crankbaits have already started to spook fish.

Excellent Feedback and an Attractive Action

The OSP Blitz MR features an HP Slash Bill - a thin, lightweight square bill that delivers exceptional feedback. You feel immediately when the crankbait contacts an obstacle such as rock or wood, giving you the chance to let it rise and pull it safely over the snag. The square bill also causes the lure to deflect upwards on contact, reducing the risk of snagging further still. The Semi-Flat Side Body adds another dimension to the Blitz MR's attractive action: rather than the wide wobble of a round-bodied crankbait, it produces a noticeably more intense flank flash. During the colder months in particular, that subtler but more pronounced flashing action sets it apart and keeps catching fish when other lures go ignored. If you prefer a shallower-running model, the OSP Blitz Crankbait is the alternative.
