Megabass Vibration-X Vatalion SS 7.1 cm / 10.6 g

Crankbait and Swimbait in One

The Megabass Vibration-X Vatalion SS at 7.1 cm and 10.6 g combines the lifelike, seductive movement of a swimbait with the versatility of a crankbait. This variant is a slow sinker - a slowly sinking model - that runs at a depth of between 0.5 and 1.5 m under a steady retrieve, though it can be worked slightly deeper when fished with deliberate pauses. It is best suited to shallow water and over submerged weed. The small diving lip keeps it running at a consistent depth, and it works just as well cranked quickly as a search bait to cover water efficiently. When cranked, it produces a swimbait-style, sinuous action in which the two segments clack against each other, generating sound that draws predators out of cover.

Twitched for Intense Flash

The Megabass Vibration-X Vatalion SS is already a solid producer on a straight retrieve, but it becomes particularly effective when twitched. On the twitch it rotates up to 240 degrees around its axis, sending vivid flashes off its flanks. Its deep-bodied, flattened profile makes the flash effect especially intense - a real advantage in coloured water, where that extra visibility gives it an edge over slimmer lures. Building in regular pauses during which it slowly sinks has proven highly effective. The Megabass Vibration-X Vatalion SS is a versatile swimbait-crankbait hybrid with strong catch potential whether cranked or twitched.
