The Savage Gear 3D Smashtail is a prop bait based on a 3D scan of a baby trout, giving it an exceptionally detailed body and a highly realistic profile. The body is moulded from tough ABS plastic that shrugs off cast after cast and hard hit after hard hit. The rotating tail acts as the propeller - it spins on its axis during the retrieve, kicking up noise and leaving a trail of bubbles. A metal rivet in the propeller amplifies the sound and adds extra provocation for any predator in the area. At 8 cm, the smallest model in the series is the ideal size for perch, chub and asp, though pike won't be able to ignore it either. Explosive surface takes are guaranteed! At 12 g, you can reach predators holding well off the bank. That makes it a particularly strong choice for asp, which love to hunt at maximum range and test every ounce of your patience.
