The Westin Spot-On Twin Turbo is a surface lure built around a patented design that Westin has protected worldwide - and once you look at the details, it's easy to see why.

Prop Bait with Folding Soft Propellers

Prop baits have been around for a while, and there are plenty of variations on the market. The Westin Spot-On Twin Turbo is different. Westin has put serious thought into every part of this lure, most notably the tail section, which features two independent propellers - one rotating clockwise, the other counter-clockwise. This pairing creates a unique sound that is highly attractive to fish and at the same time stabilises the lure's tracking at any retrieve speed. The front section, with its slightly bulkier head, keeps things relatively classic, while the tail is where the engineering gets interesting.

Both propellers are made from a semi-soft, super-tough plastic. On the cast, they fold back cleanly, which improves both distance and accuracy. On the take, they fold in again, allowing the treble hooks to get a better purchase. The ribbed midsection - with its pronounced side notches - generates additional turbulence in the water, and an internal low-frequency sound chamber complements the noise produced by the propellers. Put it all together and you have a prop bait that produces a new sound profile, tracks cleanly, casts well and reduces missed takes. The Westin Spot-On Twin Turbo is an easy-to-use surface lure that earns its place in any tackle box.
