Berkley Screamin' Choppo

The Extra-Loud Choppo

When predators need maximum provocation, the Berkley Screamin' Choppo is the surface lure to reach for. This prop-bait is the louder version of the Choppo, which already kicks up quite a racket on its own. On top of the splash and intense vibration, it adds a Metal-on-Metal Screamin' Sound - a metallic grinding noise produced by a revised tail design fitted with metal rivets. The result is an ultimate trigger for aggressive takes. It works equally well for pike, asp and largemouth bass in freshwater, as well as sea bass and other predators in saltwater.

Just Wind It In

The Berkley Screamin' Choppo is a refreshingly straightforward surface lure to work. All you need to do is wind it in and it gets straight to work. You can vary the retrieve speed considerably, from slow right through to very fast. Thanks to its exceptionally high tracking stability, only the tail rotates - the body stays on axis throughout. That makes it a strong choice for predators that respond well to a faster retrieve.

Resistant to Strong Sunlight

The Berkley Screamin' Choppo comes fitted with ultra-sharp Fusion19 treble hooks for excellent hooking performance. The tail material is another quality feature: it's specifically chosen to withstand intense sun exposure and storage in hot lure boxes without warping or degrading. You can take this lure to the tropics and target exotic predators without any concerns. Wherever you're fishing, if you want to push surface predators to the limit, the Screamin' Choppo delivers.
