SPRO KGB Lil'Guy 120

The KGB Shad in a Smaller Format

The SPRO KGB Lil'Guy 120 is the smaller version of the KGB Shad, sharing the same DNA in a more compact package. At 12 cm and 25.5 g, it sits at the lighter end of the swimbait range - yet it delivers serious attraction. Pike and other large predators don't always want a big meal, and that's exactly where this lure comes into its own. Its natural, flowing swimming action and realistic appearance make it a convincing imitation of small baitfish, and the takes are rarely half-hearted.

Oversized Brush Tail and Free-Rotating Treble Hooks

The SPRO KGB Lil'Guy 120 features a two-piece body with the segments joined by sturdy, long-lasting hinges that keep the action clean and consistent over time. The uniquely realistic brush-tail fin is oversized - a hallmark of the KGB swimbait range. On the underside, 2 Gamakatsu Nano Alpha treble hooks size 5 are connected to the body via swivels. Those swivels allow the hooks to rotate freely, making it significantly harder for pike to lever the hook out during the fight - the result is fewer lost fish.

Consistent Action across Different Retrieve Styles

The brush tail, the precisely proportioned body, and the horizontal line tie all contribute to the highly seductive action of the SPRO KGB Lil'Guy 120. It works best when you retrieve it in sharp twitches: with each twitch it breaks violently to the side, spinning almost 180° in a very tight space. That lets you pick apart a hotspot thoroughly and push pike and other predators into a reaction. It also responds well to a straight steady retrieve, where it produces an S-curve action and snakes through the water with a natural roll. Being slowly sinking, it descends gradually during pauses and at the start of the retrieve, which means you can present it very shallow or let it work deeper as the session demands. Small in size, the KGB Lil'Guy 120 is a genuinely effective swimbait that regularly punches well above its weight.
