The Megabass Levante (2019) Casting rods are the second generation of the Levante series, originally designed for the American market. Their success as an entry point into Megabass's high-end rod range has seen them roll out globally. This hugely popular rod series comes back with significantly lighter blanks that still deliver the power of the originals. Same power, lighter construction, better handling, outstanding casting performance and a sharp look - everything you need.

New Graphite Blank and Fuji Alconite Guides

To reach that level, the blank had to be completely redesigned from the ground up. The Levante Graphite System is a very light blank built from multiple high-pressure-compressed graphite layers around a very thin yet highly resilient core. This construction gives the rods exceptional load capacity without sacrificing sensitivity. The blank is fitted with Fuji Alconite guides, which keep the weight down and contribute directly to casting performance. The handle is a Levante 3D-Zaldain Performance Grip paired with a Megabass Spiral reel seat. The grip's outstanding ergonomics mean you can fish long, demanding sessions without fatigue setting in. It's no coincidence that many professional largemouth bass anglers use these rods in competition.

Two Models

The Megabass Levante (2019) Casting range is available in two models. Both rods are two-piece, making them easy to transport.

F5-611 LV 2P

The Megabass Levante (2019) Casting F5-611 LV 2P is the more powerful of the two. With a recommended casting weight of 10.5-42 g, it delivers the backbone you need to fish heavy cover and snag-ridden spots. Its Medium Fast action makes it an excellent choice for crankbaits, spinnerbaits, skirted jigs and Texas rigs fished right in the cover. Swimbaits and jerkbaits also work very well on this rod. It's a rod built for zander and pike on home waters and for large largemouth bass in southern Europe and wherever else you chase them.

F4-72 LV 2P

The Megabass Levante (2019) Casting F4-72 LV 2P is the lighter of the two. With a recommended casting weight of 7-28 g and a Medium Fast action, it handles crankbaits, spinnerbaits and skirted jigs with ease. Chatterbaits and other high-vibration lures such as lipless crankbaits are equally at home on this rod. It's designed to cover large expanses of water quickly and efficiently, and its casting performance reflects that. Use it to find perch, pike and zander across your water.
