SpinMad Originals 4 g - Consistent Results on a Compact Spin Tail Jig
The market is full of spin tail jigs, but one manufacturer has set itself apart with a level of quality and fish-catching ability that few can match: the Polish lure maker SpinMad.
The Smallest in the Originals Range
At 4 g and 4 cm, this SpinMad is the lightest and most compact model in the Originals series, making it an ideal choice for targeting perch, chub, and trout.
Precise Build Quality and Effective Details
The SpinMad Originals stands out for its exceptionally high build quality. The oversized eyes act as a natural focal point for curious predators. A sharp size 8 double hook ensures an immediate hook-up and keeps the fish firmly on throughout the fight. Like all spin tail jigs, the blade is central to the lure's appeal - SpinMad has fitted a Colorado spinner blade on a barrel swivel, generating strong flash and reflection that can be a real advantage depending on water colour and light conditions.
Target Species & Application
The Originals 4 g is designed specifically for perch, chub, and trout. Its low weight makes it well suited to shallow water, where the lure generates strong vibration that draws predators from a considerable distance.
How to Fish It
Even a straight, steady retrieve will produce fish with any spin tail jig. To get more out of it, introduce irregular pauses during the retrieve. When you stop the lure, it tumbles slowly down towards the bottom like an injured fish - this falling phase is often when the bite comes. Once the lure reaches the bottom, you can burn it back up towards the surface with a fast retrieve, imitating a fleeing baitfish.
A Wide Range of Colours
The SpinMad Originals is available in a broad range of colours. The brand Lieblingsköder has released several special colour options for this lure.
Please note: Selected colour patterns are not supplied in original packaging. These include:
- Cookie
- Future
- Laser
- Magic

For me, the best Spinjigs on the market, spinner leaf tarnishes immediately, interesting colors. But it's not just big fish that catches.

The best bait for perch for me. By-catches cannot be ruled out either. Fishing with the SpinMad is simply great fun.

Originals 4 g Cookie
Caught a few perches up to 24cm straight away after they were not interested in spinners, rubber fish or wobblers.
Originals 4 g Ayu
Good value for money. Great bait. Less hanging due to the use of twin hooks. Great running. I'm already using the larger Spinmaids. Brilliant. Goes well on pike and walleye. Would like to use the four-gram version on trout and perch.

Originals 4 g Cookie
Really nice bait, it's already brought some nice perches. Hooks are very sharp and top quality.

Spinmad has a mega running action and, despite its size, makes a lot of pressure, color/rake, etc. also mega processed. I can also search the parts very far even though I fish with a 15g rod

This bait covers a considerable area, it is a very good bait for fishing small and possibly medium perch (and rarely even pike) and for finding out where the fish are

As a search-bait, it should be a must in every tackle bag! In clear waters, I also like to use other hooks when I don't have to reckon with any hangers.

At dusk, a caught perch runs straight onto the carrot. In general, the Spin Mads are a bank. With my most successful bait.
